about

track three features The Ambiguous Ambitions Choir:
Kathleen Conery, Jeff Hoodock, Mike Cullerton

all other vocals and instruments by dan. no samples or synthesizers used,
though quite a few effects (itb) were employed, with gratuitous backwardness.

produced in a little house next to a big road with one microphone, two speakers, and a laptop. also, a guitar, mandolin, upright bass, accordion, chord organ, fife, maracas, tambourine, glockenspiel, and drumset.

recorded using ardour (v5.11 - "More Music for Films" - fitting, it seems) on a macbook, with the effects that come with ardour alongside the effects that come with garageband. i far prefer the linux ecosystem for audio production, but it was fun giving this a try.
